Welcome to The Rev, where we focus on Revelation, Awakening, Revival, Reformation, and the often-overlooked Revolution to transform society. Today, we delve into the importance of prioritizing our problems and understanding how to rely on Jesus Christ as our ultimate problem solver.
Prioritizing Our Problems
In the body of Christ, it’s essential to discern which problems we should prioritize for resolution and which ones we can entrust to the Lord. The challenges we face can either be solved through our efforts or handed over to God for His timing and wisdom.
Scriptural Insights
The Apostle Paul offers valuable guidance in Philippians 3:13-14:
Forget the past: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”
Press forward: “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Paul emphasizes that our past accolades and achievements should not hinder our pursuit of God’s glory. We must remember that to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded brings life and peace.
Casting Our Cares on the Lord
As we navigate life's challenges, let’s remember 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” You have the right to surrender your struggles to God, believing that He will handle them in His perfect timing.
The Work of God: Belief
Jesus teaches us that the work of God is simply to believe in Him (John 6:29). This belief is foundational as we confront our challenges:
Believe that He can solve your problems.
Trust that He is above all powers and principalities.
Commitment and Trust
To see God’s promises manifest, we must commit our ways to Him, as stated in Psalm 37:4-5:
Delight yourself in the Lord: This means finding joy in your relationship with Him.
Commit your way unto the Lord: Understand the difference between being interested and committed.
An Illustration of Commitment
Consider the story of the chicken and the pig:
The chicken can provide eggs (interest), but the pig must give its life for bacon (commitment).
We are called to be like the pig—fully committed to God’s purposes.
Embracing Our Role as Influencers
As children of God, we are kings and priests tasked with dealing with significant matters. We are influencers in our communities and have a role in restoring biblical values in society.
A Call to Action
Stand firm against the removal of prayer and biblical principles in schools.
Advocate for the restoration of morality and integrity in our culture.
The Pushback Movement
We are witnessing a resurgence of good in society, including:
The return of prayer in schools.
Rebuilding historical monuments.
A collective determination to push back against wicked agendas.
A Word of Encouragement
History shows us that even in the face of adversity, revival is possible. Many believers have felt discouraged, but we must not give up.
Remember: God is restoring what has been lost in our nation as people everywhere demand, “Put it back!”
Conclusion
As we close, let us declare together that:
Foundational and biblical values will be reinstated.
Morality, prayer, and integrity will return to our society.
Let’s embrace our role and trust in God’s power to bring about restoration. God loves you, and He smiles when He sees you standing firm in faith.
